Maincrop, yellow fleshed chipping variety with a good yield and suitable for long term storage.

The cooking type is floury, with excellent fry qualities. Agria has big, oval long tubers, a yellow skin and deep yellow flesh colour. The tuber numbers are rather low, the dry matter content is high.

Suggested fertiliser treatment
Nitrogen: standard advice - 10%, preferable as split application.
Potassium: standard advice + 10%.
Phosphate: standard advice.

Cultivation
It is recommended to apply a seed treatment against Rhizoctonia.
Agria is sensitive to Little Potato disorder, avoid excessive sprout growth and do not plant early into cold seedbeds.
Avoid deep planting.

Plant spacing
35/45mm: 27cm (41,000 plants/ha).
45/55mm: 29cm (38,000 plants/ha).

Herbicide sensitivity
Use of Metribuzin (Sencorex) can give some discolouration of the foliage.

Fungicides
A preventative spraying schedule against late blight is necessary.

Storage
Agria has a very long dormancy and is suitable for long term storage.
